Slimline Slot Drainage
65mm wide Architectural Stainless Steel grate with stainless steel drainage channel. It features a wedge wire grate and stainless steel channel drain manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel. ACO Threshold Drain comes complete with either a silver or black aluminium Heelguard grating suitable for pedestrian traffic. The discreet system has a width of 60mm and is available in 1m lengths. The slimline ACO drain system is compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations for England and Wales and Section 4 of the Scottish Building.
ACO Slimline is a monolithic slot drainage channel with a discrete design, intended for light duty applications like car parks, vehicle entrances, sports centres and green areas. Certified EN 1433 up to load class C 250, ACO Slimline is made in lightweight 1 metre sections which are easy to handle, store and install. The channel is made of polymer concrete and is around 50% lighter than conventional slot channels made in concrete aggregate, so that it is both lower cost and faster to install.
Polymer concrete is completely waterproof, so that it is immune to the damage due to freeze/thaw cycles typical of normal concrete. It is also highly resistant to chemical attack, and is thus ideal for applications in which often aggressive detergents are used. The lack of loose gratings makes it vandal-proof and eliminates breakages.
