A total of 490 entries were made in 2020 World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event, creating a prize pool of $4,727,550. After five full days of tournament action, the field has been narrowed down to just six players left to battle it out for the title and the top prize of $1,000,000. The winner of the WPT L.A. On the final day of action at The Commerce Casino, it was Baker who started out with the chip lead and while he couldn’t maintain the top spot, he did manage to make the final table. On the final day, Andy Frankenberger (12th – $78,040) was the first to go after which fellow WPT Champions Club members Tony Tran (11th – $78,040), and James Carroll (7th – $155,900) also fell short of making it.
