One enhancement is through the memory capacity of the HP DL360p Gen8, which offers 24 DIMM slots and 768GB of maximum memory. Another enhancement is through the processors as DL360p Gen 8 features Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors with 2, 4, 6 or 8 cores.

There are three (3) DIMM slots for each memory channel; twenty-four (24) total slots. Memory channels1 and 3 consists of the three (3) DIMMs that are furthest from the processor. Memory channel 2 and 4 consists of the three (3) DIMMs that are closest to the processor.
